Make Every Move Count Zumbathon™ Event to benefit Annual Campaign
The community is invited for an internationally inspired dance fitness party featuring licensed Zumba Fitness™ Instructors.
As a leading, nonprofit strengthening community through healthy living, the YMCA holds Zumbathon™ events to inspire members of the community to engage in healthier lifestyles. As part of the YMCA mission, no one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay. The annual campaign subsidizes the cost of programs such as: swim lessons, Summer Day Camp, membership, youth sports, active adults and directly impacts the community.
Currently, there are over 20,000 people that take advantage of the programs and memberships offered at the Benbrook YMCA. Each year, local volunteers and supporters of the Benbrook Community Center YMCA work to raise funds to provide scholarships for those than might not otherwise be able to participate at the YMCA due to the inability to pay.
