Eastside YMCA

Many of our branches offer adult sports programs which may include basketball, volleyball, softball and racquetball throughout the year. Please see the member services desk at your branch for more information on adult sports programs.

At the YMCA, we offer many opportunities for you to get in shape, feel your best and enrich your life. Group exercise classes, personal training, FitStart program are just a few of the ways the YMCA can help you achieve your fitness goals. We also offer CPR, First Aid and other classes designed to teach students how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide basic life support, and obtain certification.

Personal Training

Personal training is an individualized one-on-one program with a certified personal trainer that is directed to assist you in achieving and maintaining a desired fitness level through strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and weight management.

Group Exercise Schedule

Zumba

A combination of Latin dance and other international dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Mambo and Samba. It is a dynamic, exciting, energetic aerobic workout… and its easy to follow! Come join the Zumba Fun!!!

Body Pump

Improve muscular strength and endurance in just 60 minutes! Classes utilize hand weights and body weight for a total body workout. Burning 400-600 calories each class.

Young @ Heart

A lower intensity class designed to improve cardiovascular fitness through low impact moves, includes toning and a stretching segement. Appropriate for all fitness levels. No chair support during this class.

Y Cycle

Come join the ride of your life! This non-impact endurance building class utilizes the stationary bike and will take you up hills and through exhiliartion drills. Water bottle and towel is a must!

Silver Sneakers

This class is especially for our senior population! Membership in Pacificare insurance program is preferred. Exercises include work for all major and minor muscle groups addressing strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, balance, coordination, agility, speed and power. A chair is provided if needed.

Silver Stretch

Yoga Stretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress and reduction and mental clarity.
