Parent/Child Water Adjustment Classes (3-36 Months)
Instructor: Student Ratio– 1:10 to 12 pairs
Time: 30 minute lessons
Water adjustment classes provide you and your child with a positive aquatic experience under the guidance of a trained YMCA staff member. In this structured environment we encourage children and their parents to enjoy themselves while learning more about aquatics. You and your child will be exposed to games and activities that encourage basic water skills, such as kicking, arm strokes, floating and breath control. Children will be encouraged to progress at their own rate depending on their developmental readiness.
