Teens

Teen Camp (Ages 13-16 years old)

Teens will engage in a variety of activities that build their leadership skills. During the week pre-teen campers participate in team-building activities and gain an understanding of behavior and risk management, supervision, water safety, and project planning. Working with trained YMCA staff, teens learn effective methods for interacting with younger children. Each week has a unique focus and includes fun field trips, swim days, and other teen-chosen activities. Teens 7th, 8th or 9th grade are eligible for our Teen Camp program. For more information regarding our teen summer programs, please contact Brenda at bmartinez@ymcafw.org or call 817-237-7237.

At Camp Carter, children can be themselves in a fun and challenging environment where self-confidence, individuality and camaraderie flourish.
