Safety Around Water

Our Safety Around Water program helps reduce drowning by bringing crucial, life-saving swim skills directly to children in high-need apartment communities.

Child Care

In YMCA afterschool and preschool programs, children & youth have the opportunity to learn and thrive in an enriching environment tailored to their unique needs and interests. Our safe and intentional programs support whole-child learning and support the overall well-being of each child in our care.

Day Camp

No child should be denied the opportunity to experience the joy and belonging that a summer camp adventure provides. Not every family can afford to send their child to camp, but with your support, they can!

Youth & Government

How do youth become responsible citizens and future leaders in our nation? Through programs like Youth & Government. Teens take on the roles of legislators, judges, lawyers, lobbyists, elected officials, and journalists to deepen their understanding and expand their knowledge of our systems of government.

Healthy Living

With your support, we can provide assistance to those in need and help your neighbors combat chronic illness, improve mental health, and create healthy family habits.

Youth Sports

We believe in the potential of every child and that’s why we offer much more than just games. YMCA youth sports empower youth to shine on and off the field, helping develop essential skills like teamwork, self-confidence, and self-worth.

Scholarships & Financial Support

About YMCA Day of Giving

YMCA Day of Giving began in the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina in 2015 as a one-day, all-hands-on-deck, hyper-focused campaign effort that engaged staff at all levels, committed volunteers, and acted as a final push for branches toward their Annual Campaign goals.

By 2018, YMCA Day of Giving spread to our local region, and in 2019, the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth joined the initiative to make it a DFW metroplex-wide campaign. 2020 marked the launch of a nationwide partnership with almost 30 YMCA Associations celebrating this one-day giving effort. Whether in local communities or across the country, the Y recognizes that it is more robust when people work together. Since its inception, YMCA Day of Giving has raised over $3 MILLION in charitable gifts to support local communities nationwide.
