Our goal is to provide a safe, stimulating and fun environment for our campers where they can explore! Your camper’s day will consist of theme based activities like field trips, songs, archery, crafts, swimming, character development and both large and small group games. In all our programs we incorporate the YMCA Core Values of: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

YMCA Summer Camps provide opportunities for teens, too. From exciting Teen Camp adventures to leadership opportunities through counselor-in-training programs, to opportunities to lead campers at Camp Carter, teens can find a great way to spend their summers in YMCA camps.

Teen Leadership Camp is a camp for teens where they can engage in a variety of activities that build their leadership skills.  During the week, teen campers participate in team-building activities and gain an understanding of behavior and risk management, supervision, water safety, and project planning.  Working with trained YMCA staff, teens learn effective methods for interacting with younger children.  Each week has a unique focus and includes fun filled trips, swim days, and other teen-chosen activities.
