Line Dancing

Join the fun in this low impact cardio workout.  Great for all fitness levels.

SilverSneakers Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance.  A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Zumba

A combination of Latin dance and other international dances such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Mambo and Samba. It is a dynamic, exciting, energetic aerobic workout…and it’s easy to follow! Come join the Zumba fun!

Body Shred

A 30-minute high intensity, fun and effective interval/circuit workout divided into sections of 3 minutes of strength moves, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of core.

Swing Out

Learning the basic one, two steps in a couple style set up but you don’t need a partner to join the fun.

 

Social Groups & Events

From family nights or noon-time potlucks, to training clubs for triathlons, the YMCA offers many opportunities for members to interact in meetings or social events. To find out about activities planned at your branch, check with the member services desk or look on their website.

Get your group involved at the YMCA! Some YMCAs offer meeting space for local community groups. Check with your branch to see if you can host your club meetings at the YMCA.
