We’re taking a stand against drowning.

For nearly 100 years, the YMCA has been dedicated to water safety in the greater Fort Worth area by providing guarded pool access and teaching people to swim.

The William M. McDonald YMCA offers several Aquatics Programs, including Group Swim Lessons (youth and adult), Private Swim Lessons (youth and adult), Semi-Private Swim Lessons (youth and adult), and Water Aerobics.

Water Aerobics

YMCA Water Aerobic Classes are designed for all levels and abilities.  Instructors will provide needed modifications in order for you to adjust your workout and improve your health with the benefits of water.  Aquatic training allows you to get a balanced workout that is easy on your joints and addresses the muscles that gravity assists on land.

Do you want to be a lifeguard? If you are 16 years of age or older, join us for one of 5 lifeguard training courses. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be certified in YMCA lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED and Emergency Oxygen Administration.
