School’s Out Day Camp

The YMCA will be providing Day Camp on select dates to help parents and kids adjust to the school year calendar days out! 

Kids will enjoy gym games, arts and crafts, outdoor play time, swimming in the indoor pool, and more! All activities are fully supervised by our youth development staff. Join us for all 3 days or choose what you need!

  • Dates: January 15th, February 19th, April 9th and Mar.12-16 (spring break)
  • Time: 7 am — 6 pm
  • Space is limited — register soon!
  • Kids need to bring tennis shoes, swimsuit, towel, lunch, and a jacket. We provide morning and afternoon snack.

Summer Day Camp

Make this summer an adventure for your child at the Hood County YMCA with Camp Ohana and Aloha! Day camp provides campers with theme-based activities that teach YMCA core values. Children spend time indoors and outdoors as camp staff lead them in a wide variety of activities each day. Activities include camp crafts, group games, skits, songs, sports and swimming at the Hood County YMCA indoor/outdoor pool. Campers also enjoy weekly off-site field trips! Summer Day Camp 2018 will begin on May 29, 2018!

This year the Hood County YMCA is going to offer TWO age groups for summer day camp! Camp Aloha will be for children ages 4-6 years old, and Camp Ohana will be for children ages 6-12 years old. Any child who has not completed kindergarten must attend Camp Aloha. For frequently asked questions/information please click here!

CIT Program/LIT Program

The CIT Program develops leadership and character skills for youth entering the 6th grade and helps young people learn how to effectively lead children. The CITs will assist in day camp programs and field trips. Moreover, they will have special activities/field trips throughout the summer.
