Building a Community

Every person finds a place at the Y

Local Ys are a cornerstone of our communities, each is filled with people dedicated to fostering wellness and personal growth. More than a fitness center, it’s a hub to develop lifelong friendships and find respite from the pace of life, welcoming everyone with open arms.

Living our Mission

The mission of the Y is to put Christian principles into practice through programs, services and relationships that build healthy spirit, mind and body for ALL.

The hallmark of the Y is its enduring determination to build bridges among the diverse members of our community. We believe in walking alongside our neighbors, creating platforms that empower every individual to flourish both personally and collectively. These roots are still present today in our core values: Respect, Responsibility, Caring and Honesty.

Legacy of Community Engagement

With roots running deep into Fort Worth and surrounding areas, our legacy intertwines with the community’s growth spanning over a century. From establishing multiple Y locations to offering diversified programs, we’ve continually evolved, reflecting the dynamic spirit of unity and inclusiveness that the Y embodies. As we look ahead, we envision a community where the spirit of togetherness propels us towards shared aspirations and achievements.
