May is water safety month and when you join any YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth location with any membership, 100% of your joining fee will be donated to support water safety in your community!
Safety around water is a big deal at the YMCA. What would you expect from the organization that invented swim lessons?
Last year, new members who joined in May raised more than $35,000 to support more than 15,000 youth and adults in our community to access much-needed water safety resources.
From swim lesson scholarships and week-long apartment-based lessons to dry land water safety education, free lifeguarding certification classes, and providing lifejackets at YMCA pools, your membership fee will go towards something GOOD this month.
The process is simple. Join by May 31 online or in-person at your local YMCA, and when you pay your joining fee, it will automatically be transferred to support water safety.
