Start Your Y Journey and Unlock New Opportunities
The Y is here for all. Financial assistance is available for membership, programs, childcare, and camps thanks to generous donor support of the Y’s Annual Campaign. Our financial assistance program provides access to the YMCA programs and resources to those in need of support.
Open Doors Financial Program
Open Doors program qualification automatically gives you 50% off the membership of your choice, 50% off programs, and 25% off Afterschool Care, Summer Day Camp, Holiday Camps & Early Childhood Education. Bring in one of the following qualifiers and sign up for a membership and/or programs on the spot. Qualifiers include a notice of approval for Free & Reduced Lunch, SNAP (Food Stamps), Medicaid, CHIP, or a statement letter from HUD/Section 8 or WIC.
Needs-Based Assistance
If you don’t have any of the Open Door qualifiers but still need financial assistance, the Y is open to you.
Through our Needs-Based Financial Assistance, the Y offers up to 50% off membership and programs based on income or need. You will be asked to provide documentation for income as well as last year’s tax return. Scholarships at this level will be provided based on need and the amount of donated dollars available.
