Youth Volleyball

Got game? Hit the courts with the ones who invented the game – the Y! Children will have the opportunity to learn the basic volleyball fundamentals such as serving, setting, hitting and digging. But more importantly, they’ll learn the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development in a fun, esteem-promoting atmosphere.

Youth Football

Are you ready for some football? The Y’s football league removes the tackling but adds in extra fun and excitement for your child. Participants learn the basic skills of the game in a safe environment from our team of caring volunteer coaches who also emphasize the importance of teamwork, fair play and sportsmanship.

Jessica Bruda

Executive Director

Jessica Bruda is the Executive Director of the Airport Area YMCA. She joined the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth in May 2015 as the Executive Director of the Eastside YMCA. Prior to working at the Y, Jessica served as a board member and volunteer for the Airport Area YMCA in Bedford. Jessica grew up in Euless and has been engaged in the H.E.B. community for 22 years. Her passion is working with others to improve the quality of life through experiences and opportunities. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from University of Texas-Austin and has a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University-New Orleans. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, family and friends, as well as traveling.

Chloe Packett

Member Engagement & Well-Being Coordinator

Chloe Packett is the Member Engagement and Well-Being Coordinator at the Airport Area YMCA. Chloe has served the YMCA organization in various roles over the past ten years and has enjoyed the opportunities the YMCA has provided her. She directly supervises our wellness programs in addition to overseeing our membership team. When she is not at the Y, Chloe enjoys cooking, exploring our national parks and spending time with her family.

Nick Hoenich

Aquatics Coordinator

Nick Hoenich is the Aquatic Coordinator at the Airport Area YMCA and has been here since June 2014. Nicholas oversees our lifeguards and Aquatic Programs both in the office and in the pool teaching swim lessons, managing or training guards, and helping out around the Y. Nick works hard to create a safe environment in the water through safety education and drowning prevention. You can find Nick outside the Y spending time with friends and family outdoors.

Sabrina Lawrence

Sabrina Lawrence

Sports Coordinator

Sabrina Lawrence is the Sports Coordinator at the Airport Area YMCA and has been here since October 2018. Sabrina oversees our Sports Programs and Sports Officials both in the office and at our local game sites. She is dedicated to ensuring each child learns and grows in each sport. She also, believes that every child should be given a chance to participate in Sports Programs despite any situation their families may be facing. Her favorite part of her job is the Sports Parties she hosts after each season. When she is not at the Y, Sabrina enjoys spending quality time with her son and husband.
