YMCA Water Aerobic Classes are designed for all levels and abilities. Instructors will provide needed modifications in order for you to adjust your workout and improve your health with the benefits of water. Aquatic training allows you to get a balanced workout that is easy on your joints and addresses the muscles that gravity assists on land. It is recommended to wear water shoes of tennis shoes while you workout.
A shallow water cardio class that uses a variety of tools to increase strength, balance and stability.
A beginner to intermediate intensity class that many of our seniors enjoy as well as members recuperating from surgery or injuries. Participants will have the option to use water dumbbells during this class.

This class is the “pool party” workout for all ages. Instructors lead participants through safe, effective and challenging water-based workouts that integrate the Zumba™ formula and philosophy into traditional aqua fitness disciplines
Come try your fins at the latest fitness craze—on top of the water! BOGAFIT exercises both enhance the benefits of traditional fitness movements while eliminating the harsh impacts of these exercises, creating high intensity workouts on water with low impact on your body.
This class is taught in the deep water with participants wearing a float belt. Participants should be able to dog paddle.
Silver Splash utilizes the physical properties of water to enhance agility, range of motion, and cardiovascular conditioning. No swimming ability needed. This class will use the Silver Sneakers Kickboard.
Do you want to be a lifeguard? If you are 16 years of age or older, join us for one of 5 lifeguard training courses. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be certified in YMCA lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED and Emergency Oxygen Administration.
