This class is designed for children who have either completed the “School Age Beginner Class” or can swim on their front for 15 feet with their face in the water and float on their back. These classes teach children a range of skills beginning with water stamina to advanced stroke development. Classes are broken out by swim skill level with a class ratio of 1:6.
This group focuses on the development of swimming skills for children, teaching & emphasizing proper technique of all four competitive swim strokes. Swimmers in this group must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle with their face down. They will learn backstroke, followed by a basic understanding of both breaststroke & butterfly. Level 1 swimmers have the option to swim 3 days per week for 45 minutes. Schedule may change for the holidays/breaks in season.
This group is designed for the competitive swimmer. Technique will continue to be emphasized. They must be able to do proper streamline, flip turns, and be able to swim 200 IM. Fins are encouraged. Level 2 swimmers have the option to swim 4 days per week for 60 minutes. Schedule may change for holidays/breaks in season.
This group designed for the competitive swimmers who are efficient in all four strokes. All strokes, streamlines and turns should be legal. Swimmers should be able to swim a legal 200 IM. Technique will continue to be emphasized. Snorkel and fins are encouraged. Level 3 swimmers have the option to swim 5 days per week for 90 minutes. Schedule may change for holidays/breaks.
