Hood County YMCA Programs
The Y invented the concept of group swim lessons, which leads us to say that there is no organization more qualified to teach your child water safety.Learn More
Be goal oriented! We believe all kids have great potential – that’s why the Y gives them the opportunity to shine on and off the field in our youth sports programs, like soccer. Beyond learning more about the game, participants will gain something even more valuable: learning how to work as a team while building their self-confidence and self-worth.Learn More
Are you ready for some football? The Y’s football league removes the tackling but adds in extra fun and excitement for your child. Participants learn the basic skills of the game in a safe environment from our team of caring volunteer coaches who also emphasize the importance of teamwork, fair play and sportsmanship.Learn More
At the YMCA, we believe that everyone can reach their goals. Sure, it might take a couple months or even a couple years, but no matter how long it takes, we will be on your side through it all. We are always advocating for you, and we want to help you with the journey toward reaching your goal. But we also want to help you advocate for yourself. This is where our training program comes into action. We want to be your biggest cheerleader and your constant guide.Learn More
The Y’s before and after school program provides safe spaces for children to feel accomplished, build new friendships and develop a sense of belonging through sports and homework help.Learn More
