Are you ready for some football? The Y’s football league removes the tackling but adds in extra fun and excitement for your child. Executive Director

Lisa Gossard is the District Executive Director overseeing both the Hood County YMCA and Joshua Community YMCA. Lisa has been with the Hood County YMCA since it first opened in November 2006, and with the YMCA organization for over 30 years. Lisa is in charge of the operational efficiency and community effectiveness of both facilities, as well as running the YMCA’s Youth & Government program for the region. Lisa is involved with many community organizations creating lasting partnerships to build a stronger community. In her free time, Lisa enjoys running and spending time with her family.

Aquatics Director

Kevin Tatlock is the Aquatics Director for the Hood County YMCA and has been with the our Y since September 2013. Kevin directly supervises our Aquatics Coordinator and oversees our lifeguards and aquatics programs such as swim lessons, swim team and coordination of aquatics with other community partners. Kevin has helped expand water safety awareness in our community with drowning prevention education in neighborhoods like Oak Trail Shores and Ranchos Brazos. While not at work Kevin enjoys swimming, running and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Health & Wellness Director

Roy Phillips is the Health & Wellness Director here at the Hood County YMCA. Roy has been with our Y since May of 2016 and directly supervises our wellness, group exercise, and personal training staff. Along with staff supervision, Roy is responsible for coordinator of our adult sports, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, the Y Weight Loss Program, Wellness Programs, Personal Trainers and Group Exercise. In his free time he enjoys hunting, spending time with friends and family and being out on the lake!

Ashley Zipp is the Membership Coordinator and has been with the Hood County YMCA since June of 2008. Ashley is here to help ensure your experience at our Y is positive and welcoming as well as help answer any questions you may have relating to your membership account. Ashley directly supervises our Member Service staff and is in charge of Member Appreciation Days. Ashley is passionate about growing our volunteerism and togetherhood here at the Y and is always looking for ways the Y can be involved in the community. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exercising, relaxing and watching movies.
