Over the 74 days our facilities were closed, we were able to:

Provide 55,419 Grab & Go meals & snacks to kids who struggle with food insecurity at 10 food sites

Change 7,000 diapers and provide 1,140
hours of care in our 2 pre-school
essential child care centers

Reach our vulnerable senior members with over 25,000 points of contact including emails, phone calls and member appreciations

The Y Feeds Kids While Schools Are Closed

In partnership with local vendors, the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth will be providing Grab & Go meals to students in our community while schools are closed due to COVID-19. For questions, please contact [email protected]


Monday & Wednesday from 4-6 P.M.

To comply with City recommendations, food will be distributed on Monday and Wednesday only. Pickup on Monday will be for 2 days (M/Tu) and pickup on Wednesday will be for 3 days (W/Th/F).

Ella McFadden Early Childhood Learning Center

Ages: 18 months – 5 years
When: 7 A.M – 6 P.M.
Where: 512 Lamar St. (Downtown YMCA)

  • Registration Fee: $80
  • 18 months – 2 years: $185 members / $195 non-members
  • 3 – 5 years: $150 members / $160 non-members

We also accept CCMS and financial assistance is available.

Amaka Early Childhood Learning Center

Ages: 6 weeks – 5 years
When: 7 A.M. – 6 P.M.
Where: 1501 Stephensons St., in the heart of Butler Housing Community

  • Registration Fee: $80
  • 6 weeks – 18 months: $185 per week
  • 2 years – 3 years: $175 per week
  • Pre-K (4&5): $150 per week

We also accept CCMS and financial assistance is available.
