Amon G. Carter, Jr. Downtown YMCA Programs
Be goal oriented! We believe all kids have great potential – that’s why the Y gives them the opportunity to shine on and off the field in our youth sports programs, like soccer. Beyond learning more about the game, participants will gain something even more valuable: learning how to work as a team while building their self-confidence and self-worth.Learn More
Got game? Hit the courts with the ones who invented the game – the Y! Children will have the opportunity to learn the basic volleyball fundamentals such as serving, setting, hitting and digging. But more importantly, they’ll learn the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development in a fun, esteem-promoting atmosphere.Learn More
At the YMCA, we believe that everyone can reach their goals. Sure, it might take a couple months or even a couple years, but no matter how long it takes, we will be on your side through it all. We are always advocating for you, and we want to help you with the journey toward reaching your goal. But we also want to help you advocate for yourself. This is where our training program comes into action. We want to be your biggest cheerleader and your constant guide.Learn More
